I finally got to Jméno větru and I understand why everyone talks about it. 🔥🎻

Kvothe tells his life story to a chronicler in a remote inn, and we listen along with him: a childhood with a travelling troupe of players, years on the streets, the entrance interview at the University, where magic is taught like a science. It’s slow, but the kind of slow you enjoy.

The music is described so well you can almost hear it. Kvothe’s perfection got on my nerves at times, but the frame story balances it, because we know this hero is already broken.

And now the hardest part: waiting for the third book. Which of you is reading the series too?
